King's Garden uses the ConneXions model to build healthy leaders. To build leaders is similar to planting a tree. A good tree needs good soil. A potential leader needs a net of healthy disciples of Christ that share life with the student. Reading books and intership is one thing - being molded by community involvement is also important.
King's Gardens most important textbook is the Bible. Inductive Bible study is a core component of King's Garden. The goal is to train students to handle the word of God responsibly and work it out in their lifes.
King's Garden is an independent entity, not a sub-department of any specific church. Churches can do things that King's Garden can not do and vice versa. The vision of King's Garden is to work with church and others who want to build healthy and whole leaders.
